YOUNGSTOWN, OH – The Youngstown Phantoms are proud to announce the acquisition of skilled forward Michael Burchill from the Dubuque Fighting Saints.  In the deal, the Phantoms also acquired a 2024 Phase 1 5^th round selection in exchange for a 2024 Phase I 2^nd, 2024 Phase II 2^nd, 2025 Phase I 2^nd, 2025 Phase II 4^th round selections, to go along with future considerations.   
 
Burchill, a 5'10 165-pound forward hailing from Mundelein, Illinois, and has spent the past two season in the USHL playing for the Dubuque Fighting Saints.  This past season he racked up 13 goals and 25 assists for 38 points in 61 games.  Over his two seasons in Dubuque, Burchill has scored 24 goals to go along with 33 assists for 57 points.   
 
Youngstown Co-GM's Jason Deskins and Ryan Kosecki stated "We are elated to have Michael Burchill in a Phantoms uniform.  Michael is one of the leading returning scorers in the USHL and has gained loads of experience in his time in the league.  Michael can fly, has great lateral mobility, and is going to be a prolific scorer for us.  Michael is a rare commodity in this league as it is hard to find players of his ability in the off-season.  Michael gives us another elite player with playoff experience that will bolster our forward group as we continue to build toward another Clark Cup in Youngstown."
